Subrata Bain, a top terrorist, is currently in Bangladesh and is actively involved in the plans of the Indian intelligence agency ‘RAW’ (Research and Analysis Wing), various investigations have reveale. Subrata Bain’s presence in Bangladesh and his relationship with the Indian intelligence agency poses a serious threat to the security of the country. Through his criminal activities and political connections, he is trying to create instability within the country, which is a big challenge for the law enforcement agencies and intelligence agencies. Subrata Bain is an accused in more than 30 murder cases, about 100 illegal arms and extortion cases. He has been convicted in almost all the murder cases. In 2001, he was given a Red Corner Notice on the Interpol’s most wanted list. Subrata Bain was reportedly planning political assassinations after returning to the country. He tried to establish control over different areas of the capital along with criminals like Sweden Aslam, Mullah Masood, Tokai Sagar and Golden Monir. They had plans to dominate especially the Karwan Bazar, Gabtoli, Sayedabad and Mohakhali bus terminal areas.
On May 27, 2025, Subrata Bain and his associate Molla Masud, along with four others, were arrested in a special operation by the army in the Kalishankarpur area of Kushtia. They are accused of being involved in three murders in the Hatirjheel and Gulshan areas. In particular, on April 21, Jubo Dal member Arif Sardar was shot dead in Hatirjheel, with whom Subrata Bain was found to be involved.
He was sent to Bangladesh from India under special arrangements about a year and a half ago. The purpose behind this was to send him to the UK under a different identity for targeted political assassinations. However, when his patrons were ousted on August 5, 2024, he mingled with the general public for self-defense.
Subrata was under the protection of the Indian intelligence agencies IB (Intelligence Bureau) and ‘RAW’ (Research and Analysis Wing) since 2001. The Indian intelligence agencies used him to kill the leaders of the Indian separatist organization ULFA, Nagaland Liberation Front, and the owner of Mostakim Chap Kabab, Mostakim. Subrata Bain currently owns about 17 weapons looted from the police station. He has taken control of a sports institution in Motijheel Gopibag and has reached an agreement with Sweden Aslam to take control of the Karwan Bazar area. Subrata Bain is receiving indirect support from some security force officers loyal to Hasina through the Indian intelligence agencies. He also made arrangements to buy weapons through BDR massacre associate Leather Liton, who is absconding in Nepal, and Jubo League casino Samrat and Khaled.
Subrata Bain was first arrested in Kolkata in 2008. He was charged with infiltration and possession of weapons there. Later, after being released on bail, he fled to Nepal and hid there. He was arrested again in 2012 from the Burrabazar area of Kolkata. He used to conduct various terrorist activities in Bangladesh under the umbrella of the Indian intelligence agency IB.
