Sepang, April 18, 2024: In a demonstration of unwavering solidarity, the Bangladeshi Muslim Community (BMC) recently presented a generous donation of RM 20,000 for the second time to aid relief efforts in Palestine. This additional contribution brings BMC’s total donation to RM 30,000, reaffirming their commitment to supporting the Palestinian cause and strengthening ties with Malaysian Consultative Council of Islamic Organizations (MAPIM).
The donation ceremony, held at the warehouse of the Malaysian Consultative Council of Islamic Organizations (MAPIM) in Bandar Serenia, Sepang, symbolized the strengthening of bonds between the BMC, Malaysia and MAPIM. Lieutenant Colonel (PA) Nik Abd Aziz Bin Nik Mohd, MAPIM’s Director of Commerce, warmly received the donation on behalf of MAPIM, emphasizing the spirit of cooperation and mutual respect between the two communities.
Following the ceremony, the BMC delegation was given a tour of MAPIM’s facilities, including the Mobile Clinic and rescue boats, showcasing MAPIM’s operational capacity and dedication to serving the Ummah.
Expressing profound gratitude for the gesture, MAPIM Malaysia highlighted the significance of such collaborations in fostering unity and collective action for the betterment of the Ummah.
The donation, once again, reflects the compassion and empathy of the Bangladeshi community residing in Malaysia. It was handed over by Mr. Shahin Ahmed, Noor Afsar, Muhammad Ullah, Joel Ahmed, Murad Hossain, and Sayd Haque, who represent the spirit of generosity and solidarity within the Bangladeshi Muslim Community (BCM), Malaysia.
